(A) THE MENU
Germans are renowned for "no-frills” food that’s good and plentiful. They would be more than happy at Zum Fass. The food is authentic and imported form Europe and the U.S.A. The menu pays tribute to the rich diversity of the German cuisine from the herrings of the north, via the meatloaf of Frankfurt to the much loved “Schweinshaxe” (Roasted pig-knuckle) of Bavaria. Many of the 2,000 types of sausage in Germany are available at Zum Fass and are served both hot with potatoes and sauerkraut as well as on a “cold-plate” served with delicious German bread.

Beef rolls are a favorite among German customers. The beef, lightly coated in flour, is sauteed and dressed with a fragrant sauce. The onion and cucumber inside add to the beef's flavor. Purple cabbage, marinated in a slightly sweet dressing, makes for an excellent side.
In Taiwan, the popular German dish, roasted pork knuckle, is often fried to make it crispy. Zum Fass does not take this short cut. The pork is roasted to the extent that it acquires a shiny dark red exterior and the meat becomes tender and less chewy.
As a tribute to the restaurant's Swiss origins, fondues,an authentic and traditional SWISS dish. are also available and not to be missed. Moreover, Zum Fass has a list of desserts that will tempt even people on the strictest of diets! These range from the simple choice of ice cream to the sumptuous pancakes with hot cherries and brandy sauce. To accompany this gastronomic delight, Zum Fass offer a range of soft drinks as well as something a little stronger. There are many types of German beer including a draught Warsteiner, served cold and foaming, and Weissbeer.
In addition to this, there are a number of wines from various countries; and there is no better way to end a meal than with one of Germany famous schnapps.
